Prehistoric time

Before 2007

Well, where do I begin? My first job was as a waiter at a small tapas restaurant in Stockholm. It was a bit of a hybrid role—think Fawlty Towers and the character Manuel. When customers arrived, I transformed into a gentleman at the tables, kindly taking orders. Then, I’d dart off to the dishwashing station. A young man of many talents, you could say!

But I’ve also worked in everything from grocery stores to driving forklifts—once at Coca-Cola’s warehouse, and in some... let’s say less than ideal locations, where we loaded frozen meat from the third floor straight onto the street, on ice-covered floors. It's a miracle I’m still alive! Besides that, I’ve tinkered with hydraulic systems for Öhlins’ racing car shock absorbers and unloaded containers from across the Atlantic, filled with both coffee and, uh, the occasional scorpion. Just your average Monday morning.

I’ve also been a motivational speaker for the Non Smoking Generation, picked fruit in warehouses, and delivered those old-school TV sets that came with wheels. High tech for the time, but the pay? Let's just say it left much to be desired. I've sold everything from electricity contracts and credit cards to omega-3 pills with “miraculous” properties, all to complete strangers in subway stations and trade shows alike. Eventually, this all led me to insurance—you know, the kind that offers tax relief for high-income earners.

Anyway, to cut a long story somewhat short, I decided to circle back to what I originally studied in high school at Saltsjöbadens Samskola—media studies, or as some called it, "the program for less talanted" with a focus on photography and graphic design. I’m sure I’ve forgotten half of what I’ve done in my past, but honestly, who cares? It’s a bit like Blade Runner—everything before the digital age is just prehistoric information!
